AntennaWare's Jonny McClintock to host "The Future of Wireless Audio/Headphone 3.0" at AES Europe 23

AES Europe takes place this year at Aalto University, Espoo, Helsinki from May 13th-15th. This 75th anniversary year convention features three days of presentations and events bringing together leaders in audio research, technology and education.

Included in the schedule of over 140 workshops, paper presentation and sessions is a workshop hosted by AnntennaWare's Jonny McClintock entitled "The Future of Wireless Audio/Headphone 3.0" on May 13th.

The workshop will offer up UWB as an alternative to Bluetooth for wireless audio connectivity delivering Hi Res (24 bit/96 kHz) Linear PCM at a latency of under 3 milliseconds. Whilst also addressing the weakness that has existed with UWB up to now ie audio glitches caused by body blocking and thereby making it suitable for real-time interactive applications (ie gaming).
